Curriculum Vitae:
Pedro Soto-Acosta holds a Ph.D in MIS (with European Ph.D mention) and a Master’s in Technology Management from University of Murcia. He received his BA in Business Administration from University of Murcia and his BA in Accounting & Finance in Europe from Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). He attended Postgraduate Courses in Management at Harvard University (USA) and participated in the Leonardo da Vinci Programme in Bradford (UK).

Pedro Soto has been visiting professor in several universities in Europe, Asia and America and his work has been published (or is forthcoming) in Impact Factor Journals such as Asian Journal of Technology Innovation, Behaviour & Infomation Technology, Computers in Human Behavior, Electronic Markets, Enterprise Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, European Management Journal, Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing & Service Industries, Information Research, Interactive Learning Environments, International Journal of Information Management, Information Systems Management, Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Journal of Universal Computer Science, Knowledge Management Research & Practice and Software Quality Journal, among others.

He won Research Awards such as the ABG Award to Research and Business Spirit, the Best Research Paper Award at Information Systems One World 2007 (ISoneWorld 2007), held in Las Vegas (USA), and the Best Conference Paper Award at BITMED 2009, held in Beijing (China). He was also recipient of the Extraordinary Doctoral Award in Business.
