Curriculum Vitae:

Mireya was born in Mexico City, where she graduated as a Computer Systems Engineer from The National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico in 2003. She received the M.S. degree in computer science engineering from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute located in Mexico City in 2007 and the PhD degree in computer science from the University of Manchester in 2016.

Mireya has industrial experience as a software engineer of 5 years working for information technology companies such as Ericsson, DextraTech technologies and GoSharp in Mexico. Furthermore, she has also been working as a research associate at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico and she started to work for The University of Manchester.
