Curriculum Vitae:

José Manuel Morales-del-Castillo is a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science at the University of Granada (Spain).

The main research lines include the application of semantic Web technologies to libraries and cultural heritage institutions and the design of recommender systems for academic libraries. One of his last projects has been the development of the data model that is being used in the Mexicana cultural heritage repository of the Ministry of Culture of Mexico. In the last ten years José Manuel Morales-del-Castillo developed his career at the University of Granada (where he is teaching and researching at the moment), the Carlos III University (Spain), Sheffield University (UK) and El Colegio deMéxico (Mexico).
