Rodrigo Martínez-Béjar |
Curriculum Vitae:
Rodrigo Martínez-Béjar is a Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at the University of Murcia in Spain. He received his Master Degree in Computer Science from the University of Malaga in 1992 and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Murcia in Spain in 1997. Also, he holds a Master degree in Applied Sociology from the University of Murcia. He has held visiting positions at several European, Australian and Latin-American Universities, including the Australian Universities of Adelaide and New South Wales, and the French University of Southern Paris. He has served on several Editorial Boards and has co-authored more than 100 scientific publications, most of them in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and led more than 30 national or international competitive grants and research contracts with industry. In 2006, he became the Head of an institutional, inter-disciplinary University research group.
