Sheng-Tun Li received his BS and MS degrees in computer engineering from Tamkang University, Taiwan, and the PhD degree in computer science from University of Houston, University Park, USA. He is currently a professor of Institute of Information Management at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Prior to joining NCKU, he was on the faculty of Department of Information Management at National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, during 1996-2003. Dr. Li is author/co-author of five books, one patent, over 30 journal papers, and numerous conference papers. His research interests include intelligent decision support systems, knowledge discovery, knowledge management systems, and Java interoperability computing.
