Gianluca Lax

Curriculum Vitae:

Since 2005, Gianluca Lax is an Assistant Professor of computer science at the University "Mediterranea" of Reggio Calabria, Italy. In 2013, he got the habilitation as Associate Professor of computer science. He published more than 100 papers (updated to October 2017) in top level international journals and conference proceedings, such as VLDB Journal, Information Sciences, Software - Practice and Experience, IEEE Intelligent Systems, IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE Multimedia, International Journal of Human Computer Studies, International Journal of Information Security. He served as a referee for many international journals and conferences, like Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, Information Sciences Journal, IEEE System Journal, Software - Practice and Experience, Data & Knowledge Engineering, Transactions on Large-Scale Data, Advances in Internet of Things Journal, European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases (ECML PKDD), Electronic Commerce and Web Technologies (EC-Web), International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI). He participated in several research projects, among others “Protection of the digital services and the electronic payment” at CyberSecurity District, "Secure dematerialisation” at CyberSecurity District, “INMOTO INformation MObility and Tourism”, “TENACE Project Protecting National Critical Infrastructures from Cyber Threats”.
