Curriculum Vitae:

Mahdi Jampour received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Kerman, Iran, in 2006. He received his M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Islamic Azad University (IAU), Mashhad, Iran in 2009 and Ph.D. in Computer Vision from Graz University of Technology, Graz. Austria in 2016. He received the Best M.Sc. Thesis Award from the IAU Mashhad and full Ph.D. scholarship from the Iran Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT). He was also awarded a Marshal Plan Fellowship from the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation to visit the University of Massachusetts at Boston in 2015. He did his postdoctoral research at the Information and Communication Technology Research Institute. He is currently an assistant professor at Quchan University of Technology and board of director at Iranian Society of Machine Vision and Image Processing (ISMVIP). His research interests are in the areas of computer vision including object recognition and detection, also in Biometrics including iris, fingerprint, handwritten and signature identification and verification.
