Curriculum Vitae:

Director of GES (Galileo Educational System) at Galileo University, Guatemala. GES works with worldwide partners in the development of Educational e-Learning Projects, Technology and Research in Virtual Education. Rocael is an research scientist, and through the GES research center works on issues of computer science such as system interoperability, web technologies, semantic web, accesibility and virtual education. He has worked as a consultant and director of international projects for e-Learning and Web technologies, with extensive experience in projects in several countries in Latin America, USA and Europe. He serves as Telescopio project director, a MOOC courses initiative in Latinamerica and works towards future growth strategies.

Rocael is also Director and Professor at Von Neumann University Institute in Galileo, which leads the management of virtual innovative academic programs.

He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science (Dr. Techn.) from Graz University of Technology, Austria.
