Curriculum Vitae:
Hans Guesgen is a Professor of Computer Science at Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand. He holds a diploma in Computer Science of the University of Bonn, a doctorate in Computer Science of the University of Kaiserslautern, and a higher doctorate (Habilitation) in Computer Science of the University of Hamburg, Germany. He worked as a research scientist at the German National Research Center of Computer Science (GMD) at Sankt Augustin from 1983 to 1992, and as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Associate Professor at the University of Auckland from 1992 to 2007. His list of publications includes 3 books, various special issues of journals, and over 100 refereed publications in journals, conference proceedings, and workshop notes.
