Juan A. Gómez-Pulido |
Curriculum Vitae:
Since 1998 Juan A. Gómez-Pulido is associate professor in the Department
of Technologies of Computers and Communications, University of
Extremadura, Spain. Previously, he was assistant professor in the same
department. From 1990-1992 he was a research fellow at the University
Complutense of Madrid. He received his MS degree (1989) in Physics and
a PhD in Computer Science (1993) from the University Complutense of
Madrid, Spain.
Juan A. Gómez-Pulido has lead several official research projects; he has edited and
written several books and authored over 150 papers on a variety of computer
architecture related issues, amongst them cache memories, signal
processing, logic design, reconfigurable hardware, optimization in network
problems and evolutionary computation. His research is mainly in
the area of reconfigurable computing, including the design of custom
processors and architectures.
