• Academic Director of the Computer Science Technical School of Centro de Estudios Superiores Felipe II (Aranjuez, Spain)
• Researcher in e-learning technologies, e-learning standards and XML technologies
• More than 50 published papers in refereed journals, books and conferences and two teaching book of programming in Java (McGraw-Hill Pub.)
• Associate editor of a special issue about e-learning in the Journal of Universal Computer Science (Springer, September 2005)
• Involvement in the organization or programm commitee of more than 15 conferences about e-learning or educational uses of CITs
