Curriculum Vitae:

Luiz Henrique de Figueiredo has a B.Sc. (1982) and an M.Sc. (1984) in Mathematics from PUC-Rio, the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, and a D.Sc. (1992) in Mathematics from IMPA. Post-doctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo (1995). Currently, Associate Researcher at LNCC and Visiting Researcher at IMPA. Also a consultant at TeCGraf (the Computer Graphics Technology Group of PUC-Rio).

Main Research Interests:

  • computational geometry
  • geometric modelling
  • interval methods in computer graphics
