Curriculum Vitae:

Mayur Thakur was born in Jamshedpur, India. Degrees: Ph.D. (Computer Science), University of Rochester, 2004; M.S. (Computer Science), University of Rochester, 2001; B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering), Indian Institute of Technology-New Delhi, 1999.

He is currently a research engineer at Google Inc. He was an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Missouri--Rolla from 2004--2007. He has also held positions at Northeastern University (summers of 2004, 2005, and 2006), Los Alamos National Laboratory (summer of 2003), Equinox Corp. (summers of 2001 and 2002), Microsoft Research (summer of 2000), and Phillips Semiconductors (summer of 1998).
