Yi Mu received the degree of B.Sc. in electronics and physics from Fuzhou University. China, in 1982. He received his PhD degree in theoretical physics from Australian National University in 1994 and then the degree of Master of Computer Science from University of Wollongong, Australia, in 1995.
He currently is a senior lecturer in School of Information Technology and Computer Science at University of Wollongong. Before joining Wollongong, he was a lecturer in the School of Computing and Information Technology at the University of Western Sydney and a senior lecturer in the Department of Computing at Macquarie University, respectively. His current research interests include computer network security, mobile agent security, electronic commerce security, computer security, and cryptography. He also previously worked on quantum cryptography, quantum computers, atomic computations, and quantum optics.
Yi Mu has served as a member of program committee in a number of international conferences. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a member of the IACR.
