Shantha Liyanage

Curriculum Vitae:

Shantha Liyanage is Associate Professor at the Macquarie Institute for Innovation, Macquarie University, Sydney Australia and is the Director of SERIM Australia Pty Ltd. He holds BSc honours in biological sciences from the University of Colombo and a PhD in Innovation Management. He has held senior professorial academic appointments at the University of Auckland Business School in New Zealand, and was Director of Technology Management Centre at the University of Queensland, Australia. Shantha is an active researcher and has contributed to innovation and knowledge theories, managing university and industry linkages, and strategic and international management of technology and innovation. His recent book, published by Praeger, Greenwood Publishers, USA, features innovation management at ATLAS project in CERN, Airbus and Stem Cell research. He is also the editor-in-chief of International Journal of Learning and Change.
