Curriculum Vitae: Current Position: Research Scientist, France Telecom R&D Beijing, China. Shiguo Lian got his Ph.D degree in multimedia security from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in July 2005. He was a research assistant in City University of Hong Kong from March to August in 2004. He has been with France Telecom R&D Beijing since July 2005. Shiguo Lian is the author or co-author of more than 40 refereed journal and conference articles covering topics of network security and multimedia content protection, including cryptography, secure p2p content sharing, digital rights management (DRM), image or video encryption, watermarking, digital fingerprinting, and authentication, etc. He is currently writing a book on multimedia content encryption, and editing two books on secure multimedia distribution and communication. He has contributed 9 chapters to books and held 4 filed patents. He is a member of Technical Committees of the 2008 International Conference on Communication (ICC2008) and the 5th International Conference on Ubiquitous Intelligence and Computing (UIC-08). He is also the reviewer of some refereed international journals and conferences.
