Curriculum Vitae:

Narayanan Kulathuramaiyer is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). He has been the Dean of the faculty from 2001 until 2006. Prior to this, he was the Head of the Centre for Applied Learning and Multimedia,UNIMAS.

He received his M Sc. in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia and his Ph.D. (Dr. Techn.) from Graz University of Technology, Austria.

He serves as the Chief Editor of the Journal of IT in Asia. He has organised two International conferences and served on the editorial board of a number of international journals and conferences. He is currently the Director of the Malaysian Lab for Web Intelligence Consortium (WIC). He is also involved in National Language Technology Productisation Research Group, the eBario project and the Working Group for E-Learning under the National Strategic Trust on IT.
