Curriculum Vitae:

Luiz Mariano Paes de Carvalho Filho concluded his PhD in Computer Science in 1997. Currently he is Associate Professor of the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). He published 8 articles in specialized periodicals and 50 works in annals of events. He authored 4 chapters of books and 3 published/edited books. He guided a MSc dissertation and a PhD thesis, besides having guided 9 works of scientific initiation and 11 works of conclusion of course in the areas of Mathematics, Computer Science and Mathematical Education. Currently he co-ordinates one research project.
