Curriculum Vitae: Muhammad Tanvir Afzal is an Assitant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad, Pakistan and adjunct Professor in Institute for Information Systems and Computer Media at Graz University of Technology, Austria. He earned his Masters in computer science (with Gold Medal) from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, worked in software houses, universities and research organizations, awarded PhD with Distinction from Graz University of Technology, Austria. He is group leader of an active research group Centre for Distributed and Semantic Computing at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has published more than 35 research papers in well reputed journals and conferences. He is/was involved in scientific services as reviewer, session chair, and committee member for many international journals and conferences. Since 2007, he is actively implementing innovative features in Journal of Universal Computer Science. The features incorporated so far are Links into the Future, Tags recommendations, Expertise Discovery, personal profile presentation from Semantic Web, and triplification of J.UCS data set.
